I always ask my self why it it so hard for me to recite the verses ( am really good at reading and understanding the translation, though it does not bring the same effect, or level of understanding)

I somehow could relate to the experience that the newly converts are facing. It gets really hard sometimes to be by yourself ( i do not have a peer group or friends whom i could mengaji and learn islam from, but i am certainly glad and thankful that i have elder friends who is more than willing to share with me their knowledge and willing to spend their time with me,

Thank you Allah for your kind guidence and mercy on me, for i will not be able to make it on my own if it wasn't because of Allah's help.

I didnt get what i asked for, but i got what i needed, and for that i am happy and remember to count my blessings each day, not my problems ( i dont worry about what i dont have)

Land destroyer / tribulations of Malaysian society.

I didn't get to finish the land destroyer report part 2 on my FB notes as i was repeatedly attacked after the post, and i don't see why i should when what i am about to say will be totally rejected without a slight cosideration as most of the yellow and red angry birds are in 'high' spirit of fighting and defending their beliefs.

They say that all they want is a peaceful demonstration, yet this peaceful rally often turns ugly with name calling, back biting and mocking one and another. Now, how peaceful is that?

Perhaps a good lung exercise would be to scream and shout all they want in a stadium without disrupting the society with their personal fights and ideologies. That would have been better, and more convenient for everyone.
And yet, the stadium was not even booked and when they could not get one. They throw tantrums to the government, blaming everyone else for their problems instead of thinking of a better solution.


Everyone turned nasty in a instant, and after being repeatedly attacked, i turned into a green hulk myself. I attacked one of the NGO's president' as she was getting on my nerves, posting pictures of a senior citizen auntie soaking wet, before and after the bersih 2.0 rally, calling her " her hero

'. The old auntie should not be a part of it, instead, the 'caring' NGO should have asked her (the old auntie) what she needs. It could be as simple as wanting  better health care for senior citizen. She should NOT have harmed herself by taking part in bersih 2.0 rally to get what she needs. Screaming, and calling government bad names will not solve the issue.

The police story? what can i say, both parties over reacted and when the outcome is ugly, all faults are placed on the police force. The yellow guys are such saints they did not commit anything wrong, just a peace rally they say.
If they don't start, then the police wont even be there. if the police is not there, then there wouldn't be any beating, heart strokes and injury.

If  you are a police, and you called to work extra hours ( hence, canceling all your weekend plans, family outing and gathering) to watch a bunch of yellow 'angry birds' on the streets, mocking you and name calling. Wouldn't u get angry?

Just pause and think for a moment. What happens when u get annoyed and u cant go home untill all this 'angry birds' go home.  It then turns to frustation and anger. And walla, then you beat the crap out of the angry birds.
So that now, everyone can go home and rest in peace.

I watched the whole event via mainstream media, alternative media, left wing channels (malaysiakini) to watch what is happening.

When we hear or watch a news from some channel, be it local or foreign, verify it before we take actions that we will regret much later, as we live in an age where we do not where or who or how to trust anyone,as we live in this chaotic time.

I pray that everyone, especially muslims know how to handle this better in future, before its too late, before things are beyond repair and everyone in despair.

 The cave Chapter 18: 83-99
Verses on Gog & Magog
83. And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: "I shall recite to you something of his story."

84. Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything.

85. So he followed a way.

86. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allah) said (by inspiration): "O Dhul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness."

87. He said: "As for him (a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah) who does wrong, we shall punish him; and then he will be brought back unto his Lord; Who will punish him with a terrible torment (Hell).

88. "But as for him who believes (in Allah's Oneness) and works righteousness, he shall have the best reward, (Paradise), and we (Dhul-Qarnain) shall speak unto him mild words (as instructions)."

89. Then he followed another way,

90. Until, when he came to the rising place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We (Allah) had provided no shelter against the sun.

91. So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).

92. Then he followed (another) way,

93. Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them (those two mountains), a people who scarcely understood a word.

94. They said: "O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily! Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"

95. He said: "That (wealth, authority and power) in which my Lord had established me is better (than your tribute). So help me with strength (of men), I will erect between you and them a barrier.

96. "Give me pieces (blocks) of iron," then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: "Blow," till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said: "Bring me molten copper to pour over it."

97. So they [Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog)] were made powerless to scale it or dig through it.

98. Dhul-Qarnain) said: "This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true."

99. And on that Day [i.e. the Day Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) will come out], We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.

The Prophets : chapter 21:

95. And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us).

96. Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound.








P/S: If the location of the correct 2 mountains is correct, the mystery has then been solved, and the race of gog and magog is known.

Most importantly, how do we (mankind) should react when gog and magog emerges and rules the world?
(perhaps they already have, ruled the world)

I believe there is an interesting connection between gog and magog and companions of the cave, the problem and solution presented together in 1 surah.

The solution lies in the tale of of companions of the cave at the beginning of the surah , for trials and tribulations caused by gog and magog at the end of the surah, insya allah, may Allah guide me closer to the truth.Amin.

Companions of the cave

 Chapter 18 : The Cave




1. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad ) the Book (the Qur'an), and has not placed therein any crookedness.

2. (He has made it) Straight to give warning (to the disbelievers) of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a fair reward (i.e. Paradise).

3. They shall abide therein forever.

4. And to warn those (Jews, Christians, and pagans) who say, "Allah has begotten a son (or offspring or children)."

5. No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. Mighty is the word that comes out of their mouths [i.e. He begot (took) sons and daughters]. They utter nothing but a lie.
6. Perhaps, you, would kill yourself (O Muhammad ) in grief, over their footsteps (for their turning away from you), because they believe not in this narration (the Qur'an).

7. Verily! We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it, in order that We may test them (mankind) as to which of them are best in deeds. [i.e.those who do good deeds in the most perfect manner, that means to do them (deeds) totally for Allah's sake and in accordance to the legal ways of the Prophet

8. And verily! We shall make all that is on it (the earth) a bare dry soil (without any vegetation or trees, etc.).

9. Do you think that the people of the Cave and the Inscription (the news or the names of the people of the Cave) were a wonder among Our Signs?

10. (Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave, they said: "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!"

11. Therefore We covered up their (sense of) hearing (causing them, to go in deep sleep) in the Cave for a number of years.

12. Then We raised them up (from their sleep), that We might test which of the two parties was best at calculating the time period that they had tarried.
13. We narrate unto you (O Muhammad ) their story with truth: Truly! They were young men who believed in their Lord (Allah), and We increased them in guidance.

14. And We made their hearts firm and strong (with the light of Faith in Allah and bestowed upon them patience to bear the separation of their kith and kin and dwellings, etc.) when they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, never shall we call upon any ilah (god) other than Him; if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity in disbelief.

15. "These our people have taken for worship aliha (gods) other than Him (Allah). Why do they not bring for them a clear authority? And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah.

16. (The young men said to one another): "And when you withdraw from them, and that which they worship, except Allah, then seek refuge in the Cave, your Lord will open a way for you from His Mercy and will make easy for you your affair (i.e. will give you what you will need of provision, dwelling, etc.)."

17. And you might have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the midst of the Cave. That is (one) of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs) of Allah. He whom Allah guides, is rightly guided; but he whom He sends astray, for him you will find no Wali (guiding friend) to lead him (to the right Path).

18. And you would have thought them awake, while they were asleep. And We turned them on their right and on their left sides, and their dog stretching forth his two forelegs at the entrance [of the Cave or in the space near to the entrance of the Cave (as a guard at the gate)]. Had you looked at them, you would certainly have turned back from them in flight, and would certainly have been filled with awe of them.

19. Likewise, We awakened them (from their long deep sleep) that they might question one another. A speaker from among them said: "How long have you stayed (here)?" They said: "We have stayed (perhaps) a day or part of a day." They said: "Your Lord (Alone) knows best how long you have stayed (here). So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the town, and let him find out which is the good lawful food, and bring some of that to you. And let him be careful and let no man know of you.

20. "For if they come to know of you, they will stone you (to death or abuse and harm you) or turn you back to their religion, and in that case you will never be successful."

21. And thus We made their case known to the people, that they might know that the Promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour. (Remember) when they (the people of the city) disputed among themselves about their case, they said: "Construct a building over them, their Lord knows best about them," (then) those who won their point said : "We verily shall build a place of worship over them."

22. (Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth, guessing at the unseen; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say (O Muhammad ): "My Lord knows best their number; none knows them but a few." So debate not (about their number, etc.) except with the clear proof (which We have revealed to you). And consult not any of them (people of the Scripture, Jews and Christians) about (the affair of) the people of the Cave.

23. And never say of anything, "I shall do such and such thing tomorrow."

24. Except (with the saying), "Insya Allah" (If Allah wills)  And remember your Lord when you forget and say: "It may be that my Lord guides me unto a nearer way of truth than this."

25. And they stayed in their Cave three hundred (solar) years, and add nine (for lunar years).

26. Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed. With Him is (the knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth. How clearly He sees, and hears (everything)! They have no Wali (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule."
27. And recite what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad ) of the Book (the Qur'an) of your Lord (i.e. recite it, understand and follow its teachings and act on its orders and preach it to men). None can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him.
28. And keep yourself (O Muhammad ) patiently with those who call on their Lord (i.e. your companions who remember their Lord with glorification, praising in prayers, etc., and other righteous deeds, etc.) morning and afternoon, seeking his blessings, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair (deeds) has been lost.

29. And say: "The truth is from your Lord." Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. Verily, We have prepared for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.), a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them (disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah). And if they ask for help (relief, water, etc.) they will be granted water like boiling oil, that will scald their faces. Terrible the drink, and an evil Murtafaqa (dwelling, resting place, etc.)!

30. Verily! As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, certainly! We shall not suffer to be lost the reward of anyone who does his (righteous) deeds in the most perfect manner.

31. These! For them will be 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them, therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent Murtafaqa (dwelling, resting place, etc.)!

Al Mulk : The dominion

I like this. ALOT.

I would just like to share one of my favorite surah, Al Mulk. It serves as a good reminder for me every night before i go to sleep that the dominion of earth, galaxy and universe is Allah S.W.T

There times when i get extremely sad, thinking about the state of sunni being opressed by Shia rulers ( in Iraq, Lebenon, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan ) Zionis-Israel and American Illuminati & its agents, (the  unholiest alliance of all: Iran-Israel-America)
I need something strong to hold on my hopes to, to hold on to the rope of Allah, Al Quran & Sunnah.

This surah, gives me Iman & strength, insya allah, to overcome all hardships, trials and tribulation of the era of fitnah. This and Surah Al Kahfi, what a glad tiding. Insya Allah, May it it be a good ending for all true believers, Amin.

I went for the weekly tazkirah where as usual, to attend one of my most favourite ustaz's lecture.
I attended his talks before, each time it is something new, as he always have a fresh approach and perspective.
Sigh, i just cant put it into words the knowledge and everything said. You just have to be there to understand and experience it.

The Deadline

The day that i fear most is the day (if i live to witness it) when the sun rises from the west.
Hence, a daily taubah ( repentence) is required as we do not know when the day willl come and are we prepared to face the concequences?

Please dont delay your taubah ( repentence)  Every morning i wake up with much regret that i did not wake up for Tahajud. I can't imagine how it would be like if i did not spend the last night ( chance) do repent and the night did not end untill the sun rises from the west. Astarghfirullah....may Allah guide us all.  Always, amin.

I absolutely love this tale in the Quran. It is about man who stood up defending what he believes in.
Not all have the courage to stand alone and be the last one standing.

I pray and doa that i too have the same courage and strength of iman like my hero, Habib An Najjar.

Lion of the desert : a tribute to Muammar Ghaddafi

Muammar Ghaddafi is Omar Mukhtar's grandson. Its a little surprise where he inherit his strong genes from.
Iman ( faith) cannot be passed from a father to a son, however it can be sustained through sincere prayers and doa by grandparents and parents to their children PLUS a an effort the person himself.

I pray and doa that Muammar Ghaddafi is safe & makes the right decision for this people. We don't have many strong willed  muslim leaders like Ghaddafi , i'd say 1 Ghaddafi is equivalent to 50 weak muslim leaders that we have today. May Allah bless & protect him, the true lion of the desert. Amin.

In my previous posting, 2012? ,a friend made a clip to warn people living in coastal areas. of coz it was meant for US & Canada specifically as he lived on the other side of the world.
True enough, tsunami hit japan. at a time yang tak diduga duga, tak disangka sangka dan tak terbayang kemusnahan yang cukup dasyat.

This is the beginning of it, 2012 has started.

Hmm, tak aci lah kalau orang lain aja asyik buat teori konspirasi kan. I also want to do one. boleh?
Kalau dah kongsi raya boleh, kongsi gelap pun ada, apa kata kongsi konspirasi teori pula.

Preparing for 2012

Asalamualaikum readers,

Its a pretty sunday as i went for my mengaji class which i had missed for 3 weeks in a row due to surgery.
Alhamdulilah, everything is back to normal. i dont have any more nausea or unexplainable faint spells anymore. Thank you Allah for curing me back to health.

 I watched a brief documentary on astro with my dad this morning as i was preparing to go to class and having my breakfast. I didnt get to see the entire show but it was about 2012, what will happen, this and that and all.

Food prices have sky rocketed as predicted, i now find it terribly hard to sustain my spending from my pocket money as value of paper money have shrink dramatically. I was close to tears when i bought my food stuff at the supermarket, everything costs so much now and being self employed doing part time business, its is quite hard. I have to sell more blouses more than ever.
How to save when the value of money keep decreasing while prices of food stuff keep increasing?
Gold dirham, anyone? it has been discussed for years yet i cant seem to get hold of even 1 gold coin just yet.
1 gold dirham is about RM 650++? but where can i get hold on those?

i need to have at least 40 gold dirhams, which will be sufficient , Insya Allah.
Whats available is gold bars in 5,10,20 & 50 grams. which i cant really afford at the moment.

Sigh, i have to trim down my spending, i love clothes too  much :)
that is my main weakness when it comes to spending, i like to dress up.
( dont most women do?)

And....solar panels..i need that.
Guys, if you want to impress me, this would be the right time.

Filem 2012 is filem kiamat bodoh. kalau dah ada tarikh, bukan kiamat lah namanya

It can be sooner than that, or later than that. Allah knows, we dont.

HADIS RASULLAH SAW TENTANG PEMBEBASAN CONSTANTINOPLE

Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w. ketika menggali Parit Khandaq; “..Constantinople (kini Istanbul) akan jatuh ke tangan tentera Islam. Rajanya adalah sebaik-baik raja, tenteranya adalah sebaik-baik tentera……”
(Hadis riwayat Imam Ahmad)

Umat Islam berlumba-lumba membebaskan Constantinople untuk mendapatkan penghormatan yang dijanjikan oleh Allah swt di dalam Hadis tersebut. Walau bagaimanapun, kesemua kempen yang dilancarkan menemui kegagalan. Di antaranya, 5 kempen di zaman Kerajaan Umayyah, 1 kempen di zaman Kerajaan Abbasiyah dan 2 kempen di zaman  Kerajaan Usmaniyah.

Di dalam salah sebuah kempen semasa zaman Kerajaan Umayyah, seorang sahabat besar Nabi saw iaitu Abu Ayyub Al Ansary ra telah syahid dan dimakamkan di bawah dinding kubu Kota Constantinople di atas wasiatnya sendiri. Apabila ditanya kenapa beliau ingin dimakamkan di situ maka beliau menjawab, “Kerana aku ingin mendengar derapan tapak kaki kuda sebaik-baik raja yang akan mengetuai sebaik-baik tentera semasa mereka membebaskan Constantinople”. Begitulah teguhnya iman seorang sahabat besar Nabi saw.
Hadis Nabi saw ini direalisasikan hampir 800 tahun kemudiannya oleh Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih, khalifah ke-7 Kerajaan Usmaniyyah dan 150,000 orang tenteranya.


Siapakah Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih? Apakah kehebatan Baginda dan tentera-tenteranya sehingga disebut “sebaik-baik raja” dan “sebaik-baik tentera” di dalam hadis tersebut.


PENGENALAN 
Baginda dilahirkan pada 29 Mac 1432 Masihi di Adrianapolis (sempadan Turki – Bulgaria). Walau bagaimanapun, sejarah hidup Baginda sebenarnya telah bermula hampir 800 tahun sebelum kelahirannya kerana telah disebut sebagai “sebaik-baik raja” di dalam Hadis tadi. Baginda juga dikenali dengan gelaran Muhammad Al Fatih kerana kejayaannya membebaskan Constantinople.

Baginda menaiki takhta ketika berusia  19 tahun dan memerintah selama 30 tahun (1451 – 1481). Baginda merupakan seorang   negarawan ulung dan panglima tentera agung yang memimpin sendiri 25 kempen peperangan. Baginda mangkat pada 3 Mei 1481 kerana sakit gout. Ada ahli sejarah berpendapat Baginda mangkat diracun.  

PENDIDIKAN
Baginda menerima pendidikan yang menyeluruh dan bersepadu. Di dalam bidang keagamaan, gurunya adalah Syeikh Shamsuddin Al Wali dikatakan dari keturunan Sayyidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq ra. Di dalam ilmu peperangan pula, Baginda diajar tentang tektik peperangan,   memanah dan menunggang kuda oleh panglima-panglima tentera.

Di dalam bidang akademik pula, Baginda adalah seorang cendekiawan ulung di zamannya yang fasih bertutur dalam 7 bahasa iaitu Bahasa Arab, Latin, Greek,  Serbia, Turki, Parsi dan Hebrew. Di dalam bidang Ilmu Pemerintahan pula, ayahanda Baginda , Sultan Murad II, dengan tujuan mendidik, semasa pergi bersuluk ke Pulau Magnesia, telah melantik Baginda yang baru berusia 12 tahun memangku jawatan Khalifah. Dalam usia semuda ini Baginda telah  matang menangani tipu helah musuh.


KEPERIBADIAN
Baginda sentiasa bersifat tawadhu’ dan rendah diri . Semasa membina Benteng Rumeli Hissari, Baginda membuka baju dan serbannya, mengangkat batu dan pasir hingga ulamak-ulamak dan menteri-menteri terpaksa ikut sama bekerja
Baginda seorang yang sentiasa tenang, pendiam, berani, sabar, tegas dan kuat menyimpan rahsia pemerintahan. Baginda sangat cintakan ulamak dan selalu berbincang dengan mereka tentang permasalahan negara.

PERSIAPAN AWAL MEMBEBASKAN CONSTANTINOPLE
Selama 2 tahun selepas menaiki takhta, Baginda mengkaji pelan Kota Costantinople setiap malam bagi mengenal pasti titik kelemahannya. Baginda juga mengkaji sebab-sebab kegagalan kempen-kempen terdahulu serta berbincang dengan panglima-panglima perangnya tentang tentang strategi yang sesuai untuk digunakan.

Baginda mengarahkan dibina peralatan perang termoden seperti meriam besar yang boleh menembak bom 300 kg sejauh 1 batu. Benteng Rumeli Hissari dibina di tebing sebelah Eropah, lebih kurang 5 batu dari Kota Constantinople di mana Selat Bosphorus adalah yang paling sempit. Ia dibina bertentangan dengan Benteng Anadolu Hisar di tebing sebelah Asia yang telah dibina oleh Sultan Bayazid Yildirim dahulu. Benteng ini mengawal rapi kapal-kapal yang melintasi Selat Bosphorus. Perjanjian damai dibuat dengan pihak Wallachia, Serbia dan Hungary untuk memencilkan Constantinople apabila diserang nanti.

Baginda membawa bersama para ulamak dan pakar motivasi ke medan perang bagi membakar semangat jihad tenteranya. Sebaik sahaja menghampiri dinding kubu Kota Constantinople, Baginda mengarahkan dilaungkan Azan dan solat berjemaah. Tentera Byzantine gentar melihat 150,000 tentera Islam bersolat di belakang pemimpin mereka dengan laungan suara takbir memecah kesunyian alam.

MELANCARKAN SERANGAN KE ATAS CONSTANTINOPLE
Setelah segala persiapan lengkap diatur, Baginda menghantar utusan kepada Raja Bizantin meminta beliau menyerah. Keengganan beliau mengakibatkan kota tersebut dikepung. Pada 19 April 1453, serangan dimulakan. Kota tersebut hujani peluru meriam selama 48 hari. Setengah dinding luarnya rosak tetapi dinding tengahnya masih teguh.

Menara Bergerak
Seterusnya Baginda mengarahkan penggunaan menara bergerak yang lebih tinggi dari dinding kubu Byzantine dan memuatkan ratusan tentera. Tentera Byzantin berjaya memusnahkan menara tersebut setelah ianya menembusi dinding tengah kubu mereka.

Bantuan Dari Pope Vatican

Pope di Rome menghantar bantuan 5 buah armada yang dipenuhi dengan senjata dan tentera. Perairan Teluk Golden Horn direntang dengan rantai besi untuk menghalang kemaraan armada Usmaniyah. Ini menaikkan semula semangat tentera Bizantin.

Melancarkan Kapal Perang Dari Puncak Gunung
Kegembiraan mereka tidak lama. Keesokan paginya, mereka dikejutkan dengan kehadiran 72 buah kapal perang Usmaniyah di perairan Teluk Golden Horn. Ini adalah hasil kebijaksanaan Baginda mengangkut kapal-kapal ke atas gunung dan kemudian diluncurkan semula ke perairan Teluk Golden Horn. Tektik ini diakui sebagai antara tektik peperangan (warfare strategy) yang terbaik di dunia oleh para sejarawan Barat sendiri. Kapal-kapal itu kemudiannya membedil dinding pertahanan belakang kota.

Kapal-kapal perang tentera Byzantin habis terbakar kerana bedilan meriam Usmaniyah. Pertahanan Byzantin menjadi semakin lemah. Baginda mengambil kesempatan pada malamnya dengan memberikan semangat kepada tenteranya serta mengingatkan mereka kepada Hadis Rasulullah saw dan bersama-sama berdoa kepada Allah swt.

Memanjat dan Melastik Dinding Kota
Keesokan paginya tentera Usmaniyah cuba memanjat dinding dalam kubu dengan tangga dan cuba merobohkannya dengan lastik besar. Tentangan sengit pihak Byzantin   menyebabkan ramai yang syahid. Baginda memerintahkan tenteranya berundur dan bedilan meriam diteruskan sehingga tengahari.

Karisma Seorang Pemimpin

Pengepungan selama 53 hari tanpa sebarang tanda-tanda kejayaan  telah menimbulkan rasa bosan dan menghilangkan keyakinan tentera Baginda. Pada saat yang genting ini Baginda berucap menaikkan semangat tenteranya, “Wahai tenteraku, aku bersedia untuk mati di jalan Allah. Sesiapa yang mahu syahid ikutlah aku!”.
Mendengarkan itu, Hasan Ulubate, salah seorang tentera Baginda mengetuai sekumpulan kecil 30 tentera membuka dan melompat masuk ke dalam kubu musuh lantas memacak bendera Islam di situ. Mereka kesemuanya gugur syahid setelah dihujani anak panah musuh. Kemudian tentera-tentera Islam menyerbu bertali arus menembusi barisan pertahanan Byzantin sambil melaungkan kalimah Allahu Akbar.

Penawanan Constantinople
Pada 29 Mei 1453, Kota Constantinople jatuh ke tangan Islam. Baginda menukar namanya kepada Islambol (Islam keseluruhan) . Gereja Besar St Sophies ditukar kepada Masjid Aya Sofiya. Baginda dengan tawadhuknya melumurkan tanah ke dahinya lalu melakukan sujud syukur. Semenjak peristiwa inilah Baginda diberi gelaran “Al Fatih” iaitu yang menang kerana kejayaannya membebaskan Constantinople.

SEBAIK-BAIK RAJA DAN SEBAIK-BAIK TENTERA
Pada kali pertama solat Jumaat hendak didirikan, timbul pertanyaan siapa yang layak menjadi imam. Baginda memerintahkan kesemua tenteranya termasuk dirinya bangun lantas bertanya, “Siapa di antara kita sejak baligh hingga sekarang pernah meninggalkan solat fardhu walau sekali sila duduk!”. Tiada seorang pun yang duduk, kerana  tidak seorang pun di antara mereka pernah meninggalkan solat fardhu.
Baginda bertanya lagi, “Siapa di antara kita yang sejak baligh hingga kini pernah meninggalkan solat sunat rawatib sila duduk!”. Sebahagian daripada tenteranya duduk.

Kemudian Baginda bertanya lagi, “Siapa di antara kamu sejak baligh hingga ke saat ini pernah meninggalkan solat tahajjud walaupun satu malam, sila duduk!”. Kali ini semuanya duduk, kecuali  Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih sendiri. Baginda tidak pernah meninggalkan solat fardhu, Solat Sunat Rawatib dan Solat Tahajjud sejak baligh . Inilah dia anak didikan Syeikh Shamsuddin Al Wali. Bagindalah sebaik-baik raja yang telah diisyaratkan oleh Rasulullah saw di dalam Hadisnya itu.

Asalamualaikum readers,

I have been hesitating to write about this subject for years, as i couldn't find absolute proof to support my theory.
Tajuk pun menarik, tafsir Lord of the rings.
Memang kerja saya suka menengok dan decode msg disebalik movie berkenaan. Its not so much for entertainment purpose, every dialog, scene and jalan cerita akan saya perhatikan dan tiba tiba, light bulb di kotak minda saya, blink... eh, macam pernah ku lihat babak itu. Tapi di mana ya?

Filem Lord of the rings filem lama, dari 2001-2003 trilogi nya. Sekejap tak sekejap, dah sedekad usianya.
Masa saya mula mula tengok filem itu, saya berkerja part time dekat cinema tanjong golden village di 1 Utama. Start kerja lepas SPM dan sambung kerja part time ketika collage days. Anyway.

1 filem yang mendapat sambutan luar biasa. Memang Q panjang lah nak beli tiket. Tak kira mahal RM10
( waktu tu, kira mahal lah) orang tak kisah, asalkan dapat tengoks.
Memang best la kan, bak bak cinta dalam nya, Aragorn dengan Elf pompuan tu, ape tah nama dia, Liv Tyler.

Saya ingat lagi, fesyen baju lengan berjurai jurai bila raya.  Nak ikut pesen Arwen ( haa, dah ingat pun namanya) punya la susah nak cedok kuah,sambal, belacan. sikit punya seksa bila nak ambik makanan dengan lengan berjurai jurai sapu semua makanan kat atas meja tu.
Nasib baik saya tak jadi buat pesen lengan macam tu, tengok bertapa seksa nya nak ambik makanan, i change my mind. Takpe la,banyak lagi fesyen yang cantik dan tak menyusahkan pemakai nya.

Pastu, banyak karekter dan babak babak dalam kisah itu mencurigakan. Kecoh sekejap ketika itu, mengatakan produksi lord of the rings berunsurkan racism dan macam macam lagi.
To me, it is more than that.

Bila bercerita tentang middle earth ( atau, middle east yang mereka maksud kan?)
Jangan fikir movie itu hanya lah rekaan fiksyen yang takde kena mengena dengan kita. Setiap movie, setiap tv series yang diterbitkan oleh Hollywood ada tujuan dan mesej yang dia sampaikan, cuma kita saja yang tak faham mesej disebalik movie berkenaan. Coz, its pure entertainment, right?

I don't think so. Takde benda yang dilakukan dengan sengaja, saja suka suka, just for fun. Hanya orang yang tak berfikir buat hal berkenaan.

Hmm....movie ni panjang lah. Kalah filem hindustan. Saya buat rumusan ringkas dulu boleh?
kalau senang, saya ceritakan babak demi babak ( insya allah, if time permits)

Banyak cilaka itu hollywood, bikin movie macam sial. Orang islam pula tarrak tau, pergi tengok banyak suka.
Dah lah duit habis, menyokong produksi filem menghina Panglima Islam yang sebaik baik raja & mempunyai sebaik baik tentera seperti yang dikatakan oleh nabi Muhammad S.A.W.

Wahai orang islam, tolonglah berfikir...saya tak dapat tolong fikirkan untuk orang lain. Saya cuba boleh kongsi apa saya tahu dan doa lebih banyak muslim bangun dari tidur yang lena...kalau koma pun, insya allah boleh bangun jika Allah izinkan.

Saya tak punya apa apa kuasa untuk mengubah dunia, tapi saya punya kemampuan untuk terus mengkaji & belajar strategi2 musuh islam,  dan insya allah, sediakan cara untuk menangkisnya.
Stop lah pergi cinema, beli dvd cetak rompak pun tak apa lah.. kalau tak tengok ( movie movie yang terbaru, terkini & terhangit di pasaran) pun tak rugi. Pusing pusing benda sama, propoganda sama, cuma bentuk dan pelakon pelakon yang berbeza.

Saya cukup menyampah tengok muka muka pelakon yahudi hollywood. Its just sickening, beyond words to describe.
Belajarlah hingga ke liang kubur, never ever stop learning. & act before its too late.

Asalamualaikum & warmest greetings readers,

I have limited time lately to post a blog or write about something which i hope will benefit others, although too many ideas and facts just lingers on my mind. If i didn't have the time to switch on to my PC and start typing, the facts and the stories will just remain in my memory bank.

Okay, let the journey begin ..again, i will be posting about Ma He ( or fondly known as Laksamana Cheng Ho in South East Asia, trust me, it is the same man with many names and aliases)
Zheng He, Ma He is the original name ( Ma= means Muhammad for the muslim Hui), Cheng Ho, Hj Shamsudin, San Bao ( 3 jewels) and that's enough for now.

Oh look, i've got a better looking picture of Zheng He. Probably during his younger days. Quite leng chai :)

Now, there are 2 versions of the story, one says that his family originated  from Central Asia ( intermarriage between locals and Persian parentage- his great great grandfather is Persian, by the name of Hj Shamsudin it seems)

Or from the Chinese historical text, he is plain, chinese. ( without mentioning his mother tongue and language fluency is indeed, Arabic) so the most likely explaination is that, Zheng He is Sino-Arab. And most importantly, a  MUSLIM.

To me, it doesn't really matter if he came from Central Asia and and has both Arab and Persian lineage. This man had accomplished so much in life, building mosques and diplomatic ties wherever he goes, even though he had to work under non muslim administration. Somehow he manage to serve his religion and made the people of his region, inspired to be like him. I want to be like him, for every nation has its hero and mine is Zheng He (4th in my favorite list)
and of course, Sultan Mehmet Fatih, Habibul Najar and Abu Hurairah R.A (Second in my favorite list )
The first should always be Prophet Muhamammad S.A.W. Insya Allah.


I can't be everything all at once, but i do like some of Zheng He's specialty, Sultan Mehmet's intelligence and piety ( even though he is a king), the patience and consistency of dakwah of Habibul Najar and the kind soul, a passionate learner & teacher of one of Rasullulah S.A.W companion, Abu Hurairah R.A.

3 of them have a similar background- life of hardship, only 1 is born into the life of privilege, destined to be one of the finest and honorable king as mentioned in Hadith.

Ok now, it is 4.24 am (+GMT 8) and i should be preparing for my sahur.
Insya Allah, i will post about Ma He ( i prefer calling him that, although Zheng is a  prestigious tittle, but Muhammad (short form Ma)  is way better.

Demam & sekolah

Salam readers,

Dah masuk minggu ketiga saya demam on and off, sok sek and terlentang. Second wave of influenza? kata orang. Ramai juga yang demam, dan selsema macam saya, ada yang dah 4 weeks tak baik baik. Dah siap makan 2 jenis antibiotik tak reda juga.

As for me, i tried homeopathy medicine for 1 week, then the other week, paracetamol & flue medicine, and this week baru start makan antibiotics with flu medicine. Kira alternative terakhir dah.

Nampak gaya saya ponteng sekolah hari ni. Semalam dah ponteng, hari ni ponteng half day. Mujur Mualim saya poskan kuliah dia online kat justin tv, senang saya follow.
Sekarang kelas tengah live, i'll watch it later. My internet connection is slow, terputus2 bila load. So i load it while i do laundry atau buat benda lain, bila dah full baru tengok.

Masih tengah consider samada nak upgrade my streamyx ke tak. I like things to be economical yet effisyen.
Sekarang ni economical tapi kurang efisen.
At the same time, its not really a pressing need. I go online pun average twice a week.
Terlalu banyak benda benda laghaa ( sia sia) kat web. So i try to minimize yang mana yang boleh.
Kadang kadang ralid (tak sedar waktu) bila online, especially online documentary.
Lepas satu , satu saya tengok. sedar2 dah whole day lepak depan pc.

Ok, saya nak siap...pergi kelas mengaji. Kelas ni saya tak boleh ponteng sebab saya assistant monitor dalam kelas tu. He he, bagus juga. if not dah lama 'syahid' tak pi kelas bila takde mood or demam,

i am attempting to write a book, tales in the quran. an e-book. the info has to be accurate and accordence to al quran, it will take some time to complete this. This would be the project of the year.

Monday fever

Salam,
Havent got any notes ready yet. My desk bersepah with kuliah notes, jadual,books, etc. Al maklum sekolah baru buka. I havent really set in yet..

Baru awal tahun, but going for a quick getaway sebentar. which means, yes, ponteng sekolah 2 hari.
 My dad wants to take us for a 2D 1N Cuti cuti malaysia.
Insya allah, this would be our monthly event. Last month ke Melaka. The seafood in Umbai was nice..
I had good recharge, jadi wajar lah sebulan sekali. For a good rest and family relations...amin.

Well then, i better get back to my messy desk and study table. Putting things in order..

Tak sempats...

Salam everyone..

Waa, tak sempat2 nak update my revision notes. Waktu berlalu terlalu cepat. Day by day, tengok2 dah Thursday, my most busy day.

Hmm..minggu ni tak full lagi attend class pun dah tak sempat nak buat apa apa. Pergi kelas, kerja rumah, laundry lagi, nak revise tengok buku pun tak sempat. Apatah lagi nak blog..

Tapi saya sangat suka keadaan macam ni, disibukkan dengan aktiviti yang bermanfaat and happy while attending to it.
Kalau tgh waktu2 malap, alahai, susahnya....semua benda tak minat.

I sincerly hope and pray that sentiasa mempunyai ketetapan hati & minat untuk mendalami ilmu.

I have changed my wadrobe, changed my bank account, etc etc....kepada semua yang lebih islamik. Its time that i change my worldwiew... tang ni yang mengambil masa, reprogramming balik.
What and how i use to beleive and the way i look at things..

It takes knowledge through learning , time to digest and patience and persistency to apply it.

I am now comfortable  telling people ( when they ask) that i attend class and duduk rumah aja sekarang.
Dulu, kalau nak bagi jawapan macam kena tai chi. Kena ada side business lah, work part time lah. this and that to justify why i am learning agama.
Susah benor.

Most of the time, people just look at me and ask, itu aje yang you buat? and that rugi look.
Sigh..

One of my biggest problem yang masih tak berjaya nak atasi is, Saying no firmly and buat muka selamba.
If someone suggest, maybe u should work...then offer something. Mudah nak terima cadangan orang lain.
In the end, yang dikendong tak dapat, yang dikejar berciciran.

Ada masa2, terstop pengajian sebab busy kerja, or buat any businesss projects. And then disibukkan dengan perkara perkara yang tak sepatutnya. I lose my focus.

Tahun ni, ada lagi cadangan2 seperti itu, but one thing at a time. Saya nak qatam dulu, then i can go do other things.

When i was 15, i made an oath , thinking it would be easy to baca & qatam before 25.
Iqra dah berapa kali round, surah al baqarah sekali habis, lepas tu tak tau macam mana nak baca dah, lost and found, penat tau! ulang ulang benda sama.

benda yang paling alergik is buku iqra 1-6 tu..tolonglah, please dont show that to me. dah bosan. sila pakai kaedah dan cara lain untuk budak tua nak mengaji.

A ta ta, ba ba ba....entah apa. Lemau membaca.

Hmm..nak qatam 30 juzuk bukan mudah. Nak bacaan tartil, tajwid betul, tahu makna...
It takes time, effort, prayers and alot of practise.

I dont have justify why i am taking a few years of my life to learn something that is essential and important.
If i could spend 3 years studying tourism management and become a travel consultant. why i cant i do the same to become hamba Allah yang taat? 30 years pun , tetap ada topik yang harus dipelajari.

I am just so worried, that i do not have many years left. Beruntung makcik2 yang dah pencen, mencari ketenangan dalam beragama kerana masih diberi waktu untuk belajar dan mengkoreksi diri.

I cant be too sure that i have another 30 years or 3 years or even 3 minutes left. Tak ada siapa yang boleh jamin that i will still be here tommorow.

I had a close friend who passed away before she turned 21. Siapa sangka? Everyone thinks they have a long years ahead of them.

Turning 29 next month...tak rasa pun that i have lived that long. Separuh kehidupan sudah berlalu ( jika anggaran umur 60 tahun) what have i acheived?

Dunia? biasa biasa . Selesa, alhamdulilah.
Akhirat? takut nak fikir. masih terlalu baru jadi islam, itu pun banyak kurang nya.

Rasulullah berkata, orang yang bijak diantara umatnya ialah orang yang memikirkan kematian dan membuat persediaan untuk menghadapinya dan orang yang paling kaya, ialah orang yang kaya jiwa ( hati) nya.

Bukan ke dalam kehidupan, kita sering bersaing dan berlumba untuk menjadi yang terpandai (terpelajar) dan terkaya ( sekaya boleh)?

As for me, minat belajar tapi ilmu pilih pilih. Kalau yang akademik atau teknikal sikit, tak berapa suka.
I like things yang belajar terus boleh apply. Ilmu masak, kalau pandai, nampak hasilnya. Membaca, kalau betul bahan bacaannya, berkembang minda. etc..
Subjek2 yang pusing2, banyak pakai formula...err..tak minat nak mempelajari nya.

Ilmu agama ialah ilmu tentang bagaimana menghadapi kehidupan, teori yang harus dipraktikal kan.
Dan cabangnya amat luas.
Selalu menyesal dan berfikir, Alangkah baiknya jika mula kan lebih awal. ketika akal baru nak berfungsi lepas akil baligh. Sering, rasa rugi dan menyesal. Cemburu buta bila tgk anak2 muda yang tajam fikiran nya dan bersih akidah nya, tapi pada masa yang sama, mendoakannya agar kekal sedemikian hingga ke akhir hayat.
As for me, baru baligh ketika umur dah lewat 25 tahun...baru dapat ilham nak solat.
Sekarang dah nak masuk 29....apa yang ada? terlalu sikit amal dan penghayatan. Itu dah plus effort.
Jika tak buat apa apa? lagi lah zero.

Target tahun ni, insya allah untuk sempurna kan nazar dan puasa yang tertunggak. All those puasa2 ponteng masa zaman remaja tu, haa. payback time.
Tahun ni concentrate nak buat itu aja..ganti semua puasa. dah usaha qatamkan quran semampu boleh. tak dapat 30 juzuk, dapat qatam juzuk 30 dengan baik pun alhamdulilah.

rasanya tahun ni agak special berbanding tahun tahun yang lalu. Selain Tahun ketiga hijrah ( suka nombor 3, anak yang ketiga ;p , tahun ni birthday dekat dekat dengan maulidur rasul. 1 day after, happy sangat.
Lagi suka jika 12 rabiul awal tu jatuh betul2 pada 16 Feb, lagi suka.

Tahun ni, insya allah, akan meraikan maulidur rasul lebih dari hari lahir sendiri. Kadang2 fikir, buat apa lah nak celebrate birthday ni. What is it that i did that is so great that i should celebrate my birthday?
kek kek dengan lilin semua dah tak main.

Saya cuma nak didoakan dengan sebaik baik doa on my birthday. Kalau sesiapa nak bagi hadiah, please sedekah jariah niatkan pahala untuk saya. Lagi saya suka & appreciate.
Tak payah hadiah2 lain.

Fokus dan azam tahun baru 1432H sudah lebih jelas, tahu apa hendak dicapai, dengan perancangan yang simple sesuai dengan kemampuan.
I hope by 16 Feb, dapat hafal surah Al Mulk. That would be the best birthday present by me for myself.

Last year dapat hafal 10 ayat surah al kahfi ( surah favourite) tahun ni cuba lagi, 30 ayat.

Okay, nak buat kerja sekolah. I'll post my kuliah notes bila free sikit nanti. Insya allah..
